The Wednesday Morning Womans Bible Study will be reading The Power of a Praying Woman by Stormie Omartian and using the supplemental study guide that goes along with it. The study meets in the corner classroom at starting at 9:00 am and ending by 11:30 am. Women of all ages are welcome. The cost of both books is $18.40 The class will meet from January 12, 2011 through May 18, 2011.
Florence Circle and Martha Circle are groups of ladies that meet for bible study and fellowship. The women’s circles are currently studying the book of Revelation. Martha Circle meets at the church on the third Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m.

What is Manuscript? Developed by Paul Byer for Intervarsity Christian Fellowship (www.Intervarsity.org), Manuscript is an inductive method and tool for studying scripture. By omitting all notes and divisions (chapter-verse) the reader is forced to work directly with the text alone, and so discover for him/herself how the text is structured. With no headings or other markings on the text, we see it with fresh eyes. This method encourages, promotes and empowers readers to learn and study the bible for themselves.
The Manuscript Class will begin on February 7th at 6:30 pm. The first class will be an introductory class which will allow participants to investigate the method before committing to the class. A $20 fee to cover the costs for manuscripts, notes, articles, maps, etc is due at the second class.

Women’s Manuscript Bible Study
The Monday Night Ladies’ Bible Study is currently doing a video course “Through the Bible in 24 Hours”. This is a detailed yet thoroughly enjoyable study of the Bible - the most profound book ever written. The small group begins each meeting at 6:00 PM. We share a simple potluck-style meal then move into a time of prayer and bible study. New members are welcome. For more information, call the church office at 775-746-8118.
